CHELSEA HOTEL TORONTO, Toronto – Your ideal downtown stay

The hotel has its ups and downs. The location is very convenient, close to main sights in Toronto, with friendly and helpful staff. However, room consistency and dining pricing could be improved, and some areas need refurbishment.

The hotel has made significant improvements in the rooms with new furnishings, but some areas like the bathroom were not up to standard. Despite facing a noisy street, the cleanliness fell short of expectations.

I absolutely loved the multi entrance location of the hotel, situated between Downtown and the Village, allowing easy access to the exciting Yonge Street nightlife and attractions like Eaton Center and City Hall. The room was basic but had everything we needed for our short stay, while the dining experience at Tbar exceeded expectations. However, the service was inconsistent, with snippy responses about fees but the manager going above and beyond when needed.

I absolutely loved the hotel's location, being so close to the 18C. The rooms were average but clean, and we even got an early check-in which was convenient. The service was nice and helpful even during peak times. The location is wonderful, walking distance to everything and very close to the Eaton center. The dining options were a bit overpriced, but the market buffet breakfast was enjoyable. Overall, a comfortable stay with great value for money!
